Genesis recently announced the release date for a boxset of the bands live release output throughout the bands history. This rounds out the several boxset releases of their back catalog they have released over the past few years.
“Genesis Live 1973-2007,” will be releassed on Sept. 29th on Rhino Records It will be a 10-disc boxset that will feature all five of the six officially released live albums, and will include a slot for last year’s “Live Over Europe” release that came out of the 2007 reunion tour. There will also be a dearth of unreleased material, including the oft bootlegged “Live at the Rainbow 1973″
