Gear Review: Sonos Sub
Sam Levin interviews Eric Nielsen from Sonos about the newest Sonos wireless Sub on the Rock and Roll Geek Gadget Guide.
Eric begins by explaining what Sonos is and how the new sub fits in. “We allow you to stream all of the music on earth, wirelessly in any room. The new wireless sub adds more bass to existing Sonos systems, so it makes that music experience even more rich and that listening experience in the home even better.”
Sam agreed that the new component adds a lot. “A lot of us use Sonos systems and the missing component was that bass resonance.”
“We make great speakers and great systems, but this just sort of rounds it out and makes it better and more fun to listen to,” says Eric. “What you see here is a full-blown stereo system without a rack, without CD players, without pre-amps and amplifiers and cables everywhere. We have three chords plugged into an outlet, and that’s all you need to have music in the room.”
