Born and raised in NYC’s Upper East Side, Jackson decided at a young age not to follow the typical private school-er/upper east side trajectory but to pursue a different path, writing music that is from the heart and inspired by his NYC upbringing. As a tribute to the city that he loves, Jackson has just released a new video for his cover of Jay Z’s Empire State Of Mind, shot at a number of photo shoots around the city – definitely a unique take on the song
