There is good news and bad news:
First the bad news- The Riverboat Gamblers’ guitarist Ian MacDougal was hit by a car while riding his bike home the night of Oct. 17, 2009. He was rushed to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX , where he suffered from bhemorraging under his skull, a broken hip, broken wrist and many other cuts, bruises and injuries.
Now the good news- He was moved from Intensive Care earlier this week and is expected to make a full recovery.
Now more bad news – He has no insurance and his bills are piling up.
Please , if you have a couple of bucks to spare, send it to the Paypal acct. set up by the band to help out.
